Appreciating the employees who show up and deliver every day.

We often speak about hiring “top talent”, but rarely consider that it’s the people who show up every day and reliably get things done, who are the real drivers of business success.

Too often employees feel like their efforts go unnoticed and that they can easily be replaced.

Employing people with a good work ethic puts your company on the path to success.

Employees with a strong work ethic are intrinsically motivated to perform their best. They are dependable, productive, collaborative, and passionate. They don’t slack, leave work unfinished, or complain when they encounter little snags.

Although we expect every employee to have a good work ethic, the reality is often different.

Work ethic or attitude towards work, is often determined by how we feel about our work, which impacts our behaviour and performance.

When we take the time to appreciate an employee’s inherent value, we re-affirm their worth as a colleague and human being. When people feel appreciated and valudated, they will be motivated to do their best work every day.
