What got you here, won’t get you there.

How we show up in the workplace matters more than we often realise. It’s not just about what we do, but how we do it—and that’s often where the opportunities (or lack thereof) lie.

We all have certain behaviours that have helped us get ahead in our careers.

But as we grow, those behaviours that once worked might start to hold us back.

If you’re finding it harder to get the opportunities you deserve or feel like you’re not fully embraced by your team, it might not be about your skills or qualifications—it could be about how you’re showing up.

So. how do we change this?

⭐️ Be self-aware. Take a step back and consider how your actions and reactions are impacting those around you.

🫣 Ask for feedback. Don’t wait for others to bring it up. If you feel stuck or disconnected, ask your peers or managers for feedback on your approach.

🎁 Adapt our behaviour. The same habits that helped us succeed in the past might not be serving us now. Be open to changing your approach.

In the end, how we show up in the workplace is a reflection of who we are—and it directly impacts our success.

What got you here won’t get you there, and the key to unlocking your future potential might just be a few small adjustments to how you show up every day .
